I started Wipperling Tax Advisory because I believed clients deserved better.

For years I watched the industry run on a familiar cycle — collect documents, file the return, send the bill, repeat. Clients left every year not really understanding what happened or whether they were making the most of their situation. I wanted to actually talk with people. To look at the whole picture, identify what they were missing, and help them do something about it.

That's where I come alive in this work. Not the compliance — the strategy. The moment a client realizes they've been leaving money on the table, or that their situation is more manageable than they thought. That's why I built this practice the way I did.

A little about me

I'm a CPA based in the Midwest — originally from Wisconsin, now happily settled in Minnesota. I'm married with two kids and an assortment of pets who keep things interesting.

Outside of work you'll find me reading, exploring new places, chasing good food and great coffee, or finding any excuse to be outside — on the lakes, on the rivers, or just somewhere I haven't been yet.

How I work

Every client gets the same thing: my full attention on their complete picture. I look for strategies, gaps, and opportunities — then break it down into small, manageable pieces so it actually makes sense. My goal is for you to leave every conversation feeling more informed and more in control of your tax situation, not more confused.

No tax return mills. No 70-hour grind. Just intentional, relationship-first advisory work with clients I genuinely want to help.
